2012 Vacation: Last Days!!!

About Wednesday, Grace & I decided to check out the pool at our condo. It's pretty small, but if you don't feel like dealing with sand, lounging near the pool works just as well!

And after some swimming, time for napping!

Wednesday night we went to Dogfish Brewpub. Dogfish Head is a beer brewed in nearby Milton, DE AND it's owned by a fellow Greenfield, MA-native. They have great food there (and superb blood orange martinis!) The wait is always long, but worth it.

After dinner, we walked to the Sunshine Octopus store. (Read -- hippy dippy accoutrements.) John's a big Grateful Dead fan and likes their t-shirts. Here's Grace modeling some of their wares:

Thursday it was back to the beach.

PERFECT day.

For lunch? Louie's Pizza. Ever had a chicken cheesesteak? If you haven't, you're missing out. Awesome.

For dinner? Bethany Blues BBQ in nearby Bethany Beach, DE. While waiting for our table, we walked around the cute downtown and lo and behold came across this.

May not mean much to some people, but Ipswich is in Massachusetts and I could basically walk places to get them every single day. Come 450= miles for clams I could get next door? No thanks!

Friday -- last full day.

Had a short day at the beach and then went for an early dinner at the touristy Crabby Dick's.

Um, yeah. Moving right along.

Next up? Mini golf at Fire Mountain Golf. Each hole is named after a volcano and gives some interesting facts.

Friday night we packed up and headed back to Baltimore to drop little John off. It was great to see him for a whole week, but sad to leave him.

Buh bye Baltimore.
