We got new living room furniture!!!

Whoo hoo! Our couch was my sister-in-law's. Our loveseat came free with my last apartment. It's so ugly it's covered with a bedspread. We also have an oh-so-unattractive recliner.

We've been searching for quite some time for new living room furniture. The other day the furniture saleswoman said to us, "How long have you been looking?" John said, "Not too long, maybe four or five years." Yeah. Here's the issue: I'm hung up on stuff looking nice and John's hung up on stuff being comfy. It's not that I don't want comfy stuff and it's not that John doesn't want attractive stuff, but marrying the two has been the problem.

The problem has been solved! Rowe Furniture (http://www.rowefurniture.com/) makes furniture with down cushions and they're heavenly. THE most comfortable I've ever sat on. So, we found the Rowe brand at Jordan's Furniture (http://www.jordans.com/) and it was just a matter of what style/pieces. Originally we were going to get a sectional. Then it was a couch, loveseat, and a club chair. The loveseat is only $30 less than the couch, so John suggested we get two couches. Done. Here's the model:

We're getting it in an olive color with the following pattern for toss pillows:
The chair was the only thing left. We found a chair & a half that John LOVED, but it didn't exactly match the couches. The couches are slipcover "look" while the chair is actual slipcover. After trying recliners and many other chairs, we still came back to the chair & a half. Our awesome salesperson Joyce helped us pick out a complementing color for the chair: putty and we took the plunge and ordered it.
Cross your fingers that it all looks ok!
P.S.: Thanks Mom for all of your help. ;)
