My Latest Obsession -- Butterscotch

When I was little, my Mom used to make pudding for dessert. (This was before the disposable culture of individual plastic pudding cups came along.) I can almost feel the cold glass dish it was in. (Does anyone really have pudding dishes anymore?) We used to pour milk on top and dig in with our spoons, making little pools within the pudding. She probably made other flavors, but I only remember butterscotch. I LOVED butterscotch pudding.

Fast forward 30ish years. At the grocery store earlier today, we turned down the baking/pudding aisle and my eyes went directly to Butterscotch Snack Pack pudding.

I've already had one.

Continuing down that aisle, I was drawn like a magnet to this:

I did refrain and NOT buy these.

However, I've been thinking non-stop since then about what kind of recipes I could make with these. I've come across a few good looking ones --
